The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists Foundation

The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA) Foundation was established in 2007 with a mission to advance cardiovascular patient safety and support the continuous improvement of the cardiovascular anesthesiology profession.

The mission of FOCUS is to improve the care of patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. FOCUS employs rigorous social science and engineering methodology in order to develop and measure the effectiveness of our interventions on complex systems in the operating room and across the entire episode of care.
